Self Evaluation!!!

This is my self evaluation, i have tried to be realistic as possible and think that i have chosen the right grades for each of the following:




1. Attainment: 2

The reason why i have given myself a 2 is becuase i believe that from last year i have really started to perform well and have a more greater understanding of all the topics and areas.

2. Effort: 1

1, because i have really put alot of effort into my work this year, no doubt, yeah maybe sometimes when handing in work, however i think that i deserve a 1 for effort for both modules and everything else.

3. Punctuality: 1

I have started to make a big change for punctuality, becuase i remember my attendence and punctuality last year was quite bad, however i have started to put effort in coming to the lessons and on time which i think is a great achievement.

4. Submission and quality of homework: 2

For this part, i have graded myself a 2, not becuase i have not handed in work, but i would complete a task and leaving some parts incomplete, such as highlighting a reading pack and not completing the summary up to the standard, however i am improving on these points and hope to perform much better for next term and the year ahead.

5. Ability to work independently: 2

I think im quite good at working independently, as i like the whole idea of having your own blog and completing task on your own, but i think i sometimes leave things to the last minute which makes me feel that i maybe need some help from somebody, which i believe i shouldn't rely on.

6. Quality of writing: 2

I think i do express myself whilst writing and try to convey my point quite clearly, but i guess i start of something well and then sort of drift away and start making common mistakes and the quality of the wrting then drops and sounds completly different.

7. Organisation of Media folder: 1

This year i will definetly grade myself a 1, this is because from the day i have started year 13, i have organised my media folder in two section, one for Mr. Bush and one for Mr. Munro, and due to my folder being well organised i am perform well and am understanding almost everything and also the homework is almost up-to-date.

8. Oral contributions in class: 1

My oral contribution has improved rapidly, because i have started to express my fellings and feel that this is necessary and also by contributing in class, i believe you feel that you are a part of the discussion and that other students and the teacher also obtain something new which can be helpful for somebody.

9. Standard of Module 5 blog: 1

I would grade myself a 1 becuase i have put a lot of effort in my module 5 blog and think that by doing this it has made me feel very independent and also my research skills have improved and also being a bit creative makes the study more enjoyable.

10. Standard of Module 6 blog: 1

I would also grade myself a 1 because i have also put in a great deal of effort, as i am enjoying the topic and finding it interesting which is why maybe i enjoying the research and posting up homework which again is enjoyable.

A list of three targets/areas for improvement over the next half-term:

1. Hand in homework on time and everything complete

2. Put MORE effort in the class work, homework and blogwork

3. Improve on quality of writing
